1. Who we are

Irish Salary Calculator is an independent website that provides free salary and tax calculators and guides. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are the data controller for personal data processed through this website. 2. Information you enter into the calculators

All calculations happen in your browser. The salary, pension, bonus and other figures you enter are not sent to us, stored, or shared with anyone.

3. Information collected automatically

• Server logs: our hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the date and time. This is needed to deliver and secure the website, and it is kept only for a short period.
• Cookies and similar technologies: we and our advertising partners use cookies, local storage, pixels and similar identifiers as described in our Cookie Policy.

4. Advertising

This website is free because it shows advertising. We work with third-party advertising networks and ad exchanges, including header bidding platforms and their demand partners. With your consent, these partners may use cookies and similar technologies to:

• show ads and limit how often you see the same ad;
• show ads that may be personalised based on your browsing activity on this and other websites;

• Responding to you when you email us, based on our legitimate interest in answering your message.

6. If you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use this only to respond and delete it when it is no longer needed, normally within 12 months.

7. International transfers

Some of our hosting and advertising partners are based outside the European Economic Area. Where data is transferred, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws (including the UK GDPR and US state privacy laws such as the CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to:

• ask us to correct or delete it;

• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that happened before you withdrew it;

• complain to a supervisory authority. In Ireland this is the Data Protection Commission.
